Collectable tall Syrian heritage dolls are designed with vintage textiles and French brocades from Aida’s archives. A limited doll collection and collaboration between Aida Dalati and Tulip Kurdi commemorating Syrian women’s courage and tenacity . Aida and Tulip Modern Syrian Folk Art collection includes Umayyad, Abbasid, Ayyubid and Mamluk era Folklore motifs and are hand made in our studios. Embroidery floss in silk and wools. Some collector dolls include coral, gold filled beads, and fresh water pearls. Doll features, embroidery themes and dresses drawn and created by Aida Dalati.

Doll themes and motifs are based on Aida Dalati’s knowledge and research of her Syrian Costume Collection she started collecting at the age of seventeen and her Book; Restoring Damascus With Watered Down Paint, Amazon.

Themes and motifs drawn and inspired by painted panels, tiles, or whimsical stories passed down through generations.
